Backflow prevention and cross connection control measures are expanding in the City of Barrie
On January 9th 2017 Barrie City Council gave initial approval to implement additional measures to protect the city's drinking water from contamination. The measures clarify properties that require a cross-connection survey and the installation of a backflow preventer. Final approval for these measures will be considered on January 16th 2017.
